As a scenic painter for Haunted Harvest, a popular seasonal event held at the local Chino pumpkin patch, I was responsible for creating vibrant, large-scale murals and detailed installations that brought various themed environments to life. My work included:
Disco-Themed Maze: Painted iconic disco figures (ABBA, Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, and Patrice Rushen) to create a colorful, retro atmosphere within a maze.
Clown Canvas Portraits: Recreated John Wayne Gacy's original clown paintings, meticulously capturing the details and characteristics of his work. Each portrait, ranging up to 3' x 5', was painted to reflect the eerie, unsettling style of Gacy’s real-life art.
Wayfinding Signage & Halloween Mask Decorations: Designed and painted signage and mask decor, ensuring clarity and a spooky atmosphere for guests navigating the attractions.
I worked with a variety of mediums, including acrylic paints, spray paints, and primers, to achieve durable, high-quality finishes that could withstand outdoor conditions.
